Delicious, simple vegetarian meals (with vegan options) are a highlight of the trip. Onboard meals and snacks are included. Dinners at tavernas are extra. We don’t provide alcohol on board, you can bring your own if needed.

Life on board

  • Life at sea is simple and deeply enjoyable. After one day you will get used to being on a boat. Everyday stress fades away and the rhythm of the ocean takes over.

  • You’ll share the catamaran with a small group of women. Being in a group invites openness, kindness, patience and a willingness to share space for one week.

  • Cabins are cozy with shared double beds. Most of the day is spent on deck with plenty of room to connect as well as find moments for yourself. We go ashore at least once a day so you always have time off the boat.

  • Weather and wind guide our journey. This means the itinerary may change to always ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience.

FAQ & Infos

  • SAILAMOON offers conscious sailing trips created for women who wish to slow down, connect, and experience the sea in a more intentional way.

Rooted in the idea of Women’s Sailing Trips, SAILAMOON brings together different journey formats, from the deeper SAILAMOON IMMERSIVE trip guided by Mia & Katrin to the lighter SAILAMOON EXPLORER trip guided by Katrin. All trips are shaped by simplicity, presence, and shared time on the water, with the sailingp part safely led by Captain Nootch.

You can read more about how SAILAMOON came to life in Our Story.

  • The SAILAMOON IMMERSIVE trip is our original women-only journey, designed for deep connection and inner exploration. Alongside sailing through stunning locations, the program includes sound and connection circles, guided “rise & shine” mornings, and fully catered vegetarian meals. The sailing itself is the same on all SAILAMOON trips, safe, smooth, and fully guided by Captain Nootch. The Immersive trip is guided by Mia & Katrin, with singing circles led by Mia.

Note: No Immersive trips are planned for 2026, but stay tuned in our newsletter for updates.

  • The SAILAMOON Explorer trip is a women-only sailing journey with an open, explorative flow.
You’ll experience the same safe, smooth sailing as on the SAILAMOON Immersive trip, combined with time to explore villages, nature, and your surroundings. The program is simpler, without Sound & Connection circles, but includes our guided Rise & Shine mornings and fully catered yummy vegetarian meals. The SAILAMOON Explorer trip is guided by Katrin only.

  • SAILAMOON IMMERSIVE
A women-only sailing journey with a deeper focus on reflection, connection, and shared group rituals. Alongside safe, smooth sailing, the Immersive trip includes Sound & Connection circles and curated moments to slow down, tune in, and connect with yourself, the group, and the sea. The SAILAMOON Immersive trip is guided by Mia and Katrin.

    SAILAMOON EXPLORER
A women-only sailing journey with an open, explorative flow. With the same safe, smooth sailing experience, this format centers on sailing, exploring islands and villages. This trip doesn’t offer Sound & Connection Circles. The SAILAMOON Explorer trip is guided by Katrin only.

    Both formats
Both SAILAMOON trips include space for rest, silence, and personal time, as well as guided Rise & Shine mornings and fully catered vegetarian meals.

  • All our SAILAMOON sailing trips are for women of all ages who feel curious about sailing and traveling in a small, supportive group. You don’t need prior experience. Just an open mind, average fitness, and comfort around water.

  • No sailing experience is needed. You’ll be accompanied by an experienced skipper who is used to sailing with beginners and enjoys sharing basic skills.

You can join in as much or as little as you like. Helping with sails, steering the boat, or simply resting on deck, reading, swimming, and watching the horizon. Being able to swim and having average fitness is enough.

    • SAILAMOON IMMERSIVE Trip: guided by Mia & Katrin, with singing and connection circles

    • SAILAMOON EXPLORER Trip: guided by Katrin

All trips are sailed by Captain Nootch, who ensures safety, smooth sailing, and navigation. He is not part of the group process.

  • The onboard language is flexible depending on the group. We speak English, German, Swiss German, and French and welcome women from around the world. You can speak whichever language feels comfortable.

  • There are multiple airlines that fly direct or one stop flights to Kos Airport. For example Edelweiss Airlines offer direct flights from Zurich to Kos in September.

From the airport you can take a 30-45 min. taxi to Kos main harbour. Or a 5 Euro local bus that takes 1,5h.

Check-in on the boat at Kos Marina is at 5pm on the first Saturday. Check-out is at 9am on the Saturday after.

The flight and transfer to the harbour are not included in the price and must be booked individually.

  • June typically brings sunny, warm days (26–30 °C), mild evenings, and sea temperatures of 22–24 °C. Winds are usually moderate — perfect for sailing. The islands feel lively but not overcrowded.

End of September the temperature in the Dodecanese islands is between 22-25 °C. Perfect sailing weather and the sea is still refreshing.

The wind during both June and September is usually slightly less strong than in July or August offering more favorable conditions than in the summer months, meaning that there are also less waves.

Please be aware that mother nature will be guiding our trip depending on weather, wind, waves. If there is wind we sail. If not our boat has a motor to support. We adapt our itinerary accordingly to make sure everybody has a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
